Art Licks Weekend

For the third year, Art Licks Weekend offers free exhibitions and events all over London organised by emerging artists.

2 October 2015 – 4 October 2015 | Visit website

This year’s Art Licks Weekend offers a great opportunity to sample a wide range of art in spaces around town that are home to emerging artists and grassroots projects essential to the future of London’s cultural life. All events are free and include exhibitions, performances and workshops organised by 90 curatorial collectives, artist-run projects and young galleries.

Have a look at the programme and online map to curate your own art tour. Venues range from shiny new galleries like Peckham’s Assembly point, where work centres on capitalist realism, performance and perception, to the hybrid domestic spaces of Ingrid Project and Flat i in Deptford, two places to see performances on Friday evening. On the Saturday afternoon at SPACE Studios in Hackney, Helen Ashton will be showing you how to make your own 8-page zine using a Risograph.

For information on all Art Licks Weekend events, see website.
