Nico Muhly's The Last Letter
Milton Court Concert Hall - 9 November 2018

Featuring as part of the Barbican's For the Fallen: Marking the First World War Centenary, Britten Sinfonia will premiere a new arrangement of Nico Muhly's poignant The Last Letter, inspired by the letters sent between soldiers and their loved ones.

Handel's Messiah
Barbican Hall - 19 December 2018

In a special Christmas show, Britten Sinfonia perform Handel's Messiah, joined by a line-up of renowned British singers, including Sophie Bevan, Iestyn Davies and Roderick Williams

Brahms Symphony Cycle with Sir Mark Elder
Barbican Hall - 17 January 2019

Britten Sinfonia's intimate and acclaimed four-year Brahms Symphony Cycle with Sir Mark Elder sees the orchestra delve into Brahms's Second Symphony, tracing a line from Romanticism to 20th century evocations of poetry, love and nature.

Barbican Hall - 21 & 26 May 2019

Thomas Adès and Britten Sinfonia's critically acclaimed Beethoven Symphony Cycle culminates in May 2019 with the 7th, 8th and powerful 9th Symphonies, along with Irish composer Gerald Barry's The Eternal Recurrence and Dead March.
