Cecil Sharp House hosts summer courses in folk music and dance

25 July 2017 – 4 August 2017 | Visit website

Cecil Sharp House are running a variety of summer courses for young people, where they can learn about folk music and dance. Four different courses cater for a range of age groups, and are all led by professional folk musicians.

Fun with Folk is aimed at 6-8 year olds, whilst Get Your Folk On! is aimed at ages 12-19, and has a Juniors course for ages 9-12, or Plus for disabled 12-24 year olds. None of the courses require previous experience, and they all cater for beginners, with a series of workshops followed by a group performance at the end of the course.

Folk Music and Dance Summer Courses run at Cecil Sharp House from July 25 - August 4. Dates, times and prices vary for each course.
