Fool for Love

The Sam Shepard play comes to The Courtyard Theatre

6 February 2018 – 10 February 2018 | Visit website

Shepard’s Fool for Love invites us in to the weird and wonderfulness of the human race and how even through the most desolate of places, the most peaceful of places but storm is always rumbling.

Shepard is potentially the most prolific American dramatists of the past fifty years. A catalogue of plays that has not only shaped our theatre of today but are certain to stand the tests of time. The language of Fool for Love invites everyone and excludes no one as we all have a little Eddie and May inside us.

This bleak but savagely funny 90 minute piece covers themes of morality, love, lust and all the things that feel so right but could not be more wrong. Set in the dream like almost mythical America, Fool for Love puts its audience through a cataclysm of love and hate.
