Enjoy the best of British theatre from the comfort of deck chairs, under the iconic backdrop of SSE Arena, Wembley.

6 July 2018 – 15 July 2018 | Visit website

For the first time ever, two acclaimed National Theatre Live screenings will be broadcast completely free to the public in a deckchair setting in Arena Square, set against the dramatic backdrop of SSE Arena, Wembley. The screenings come ahead of the opening of Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, a flexible 1,000-2,000 seat capacity theatre being created inside the former Fountain Studios by award-winning Troubadour Theatres.

Twelfth Night on 6 July is a delightful classic Shakespeare comedy of mistaken identity with a gender twist, staring Tamsin Greig as Malvolia. Nicholas Hytner’s production of Julius Caesar staring Ben Wishaw, Michelle Fairley and David Morrissey thrust the audience right into the middle of the action with a promenade staging.

Further screenings will be announced later this summer as part of Wembley Park’s Summer of Play programme of cultural activity taking place over the coming months.
