The Science Museum hosts an exciting exhibition charting India's scientific and technological achievements.

4 December 2017 – 31 March 2018 | Visit website

This year marks 70 years of Indian independence; the Science Museum hosts a season of events and two exhibitions to mark it. Illuminating India: 5000 Years of Science and Innovation celebrates the central role India has played in science and technology throughout history.  The exhibition highlights the contributions of individuals such as mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, and scientist Jagadish Chandra Bose, as well as displaying several artefacts and objects that have played an important part in developing scientific advancement throughout history.

They also host a second exhibition Illuminating India: Photography 1857 - 2017 to document how photography has charted the recent history of the country.

Illuminating India: 5000 Years of Science and Innovation is at the Science Museum. Free admission with ticket.
