Jews. Money. What’s fact? What’s fiction?

Jews, Money, Myth is a major exhibition exploring the role of money in Jewish life. Discover the ideas, myths and stereotypes that link Jews and money over the course of 2000 years.

Artwork includes Rembrandt’s first masterpiece Judas Returning the Thirty Pieces of Silver and new commissions by Jeremy Deller and Doug Fishbone.

This exhibition draws together art, film, literature and cultural ephemera from board games and cartoons to costumes and figurines. Follow the real and imagined stories of Jews – in finance, commerce and capitalism – up to the present day.

The exhibition has been developed by the Jewish Museum London in collaboration with the Pears Institute for the study of Antisemitism at Birkbeck, University of London.
