Knives and Hens at the Donmar Warehouse

A haunting pre-industrial drama from acclaimed director Yaël Farber

17 August 2017 – 7 October 2017 | Visit website

Covent Garden's Donmar Warehouse presents the first major revival of David Harrower's chilling Knives in Hens since its 1995 debut - with internationally renowned and multi award-winning director Yaël Farber at helm.

When a ploughman and his wife find their simple country life interrupted by the hated local miller, what emerges is both a love triangle and a story about the transformative power of knowledge - all set against the backdrop of the dawn of the industrial age.

Knives in Hens runs at the Donmar Warehouse, WC2H 9LX, until 7 October. Tickets from £10.

Donmar Warehouse , 41 Earlham Street , Seven Dials , London WC2H 9LX
