Museums at Night: Story writing workshop at London Mithraeum

An after-hours story writing adventure with celebrated children’s author Caroline Lawrence at London's only Roman temple.

17 May 2018

If you know any children aged 8-12 who love reading, here is an amazing chance to brainstorm with Caroline as she works on her exciting new book, set in the mysterious Temple of Mithras. Budding authors and historians and their accompanying adults are invited to hear some exclusive work-in-progress writing, and after the workshop, there will be a chance to experience the unique sights and sounds of London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE, where the remains of the Temple of Mithras have been brought to life. You’ll gain insight into the way an author works, learn a little Latin and discover some surprising facts about those who worshipped the mysterious god called Mithras.

Museums at Night: Story writing workshop is at London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE on 17 May from 6 - 8 pm. The event is free but places need to be reserved in advance.
