Music at the Barbican this Christmas

Join the Barbican for some awe-inspiring melodic additions to your Christmas, including festive traditional music and the music of Bond.

The Glory of Christmas is a concert of joyous, seasonal and traditional music perfectly captures the true spirit of Christmas. You will hear festive classics such as ‘Ding, dong! Merrily on high’ by Wood and Willcocks ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’. There will also be carols for all including, ‘Hark! The herald angels sing’, O little town of Bethlehem’, Away in a manger’, ‘God rest ye merry, gentlemen’ and O come, all ye faithful’.

This will all Performed by the exquisite London Concert Orchestra, London Philharmonic Choir, Trinity Boys Choir with David Butt Philip as Tenor, Treble Freddie Jemison, Crispian Steele-Perkins on Trumpet and conducted by John Preyce-Jones. This concert is not to be missed and is a sure way to get you into the festive spirit.

The Music Of Bond
29 December at Barbican Hall

Celebrate the UK’s most famous secret service agent in an afternoon of iconic music and songs. Joined by guest singers Tim Howar and Gemma Sutton, the London Concert Orchestra perform music from Casino Royale, Goldfinger, Skyfall, Live and Let Die, Diamonds are Forever, The Spy Who Loved Me and more. This will all be conducted by the exquisite John Rigby and is a must see for any Bond or film fan.
