The Politics Festival

A weekend of political discussion and lively debate

23 June 2017 – 25 June 2017 | Visit website | Book tickets

To paraphrase the words of Brenda from Bristol: "There's a lot of politics going on right now". In that spirit, Kings Place have programmed a weekend of talks and debates exploring the big issues of our time. It's strictly non-partisan, and politicians, commentators and comedians from across the spectrum are taking part.

Headliners include Nick Clegg, Ed Miliband, Michael Gove, Ed Balls, John Bercow and Harriet Harman, with activist Owen Jones, broadcaster Robert Peston and cartoonist Steve Bell also involved. Alongside the talks, The Orchestra of Syrian Musicans are performing with Maverick Sabre, and there's a screening, followed by a Q+A, of political documentary Accidental Anarchist. It promises to be a fascinating weekend.

The Politics Festival takes place at Kings Place from June 23-25. Tickets from £9.50.
