Wonderful World Late at Horniman Museum and Gardens!

Wonderful World Late at Horniman Museum and Gardens!

Discover the wonders of the Horniman’s new World Gallery at this special evening of performances, talks, tours and food.

19 July 2018 | Book tickets

Explore the worlds of science fiction, virtual reality and the Horniman’s collection of taxidermy, and don't miss a site-specific performance inspired by the World Gallery by British Brazilian choreographer Jean Abreu.

DJ Chris Tofu will transport you to places across the globe, with music from Africa and South America, to South East Asia and Eastern Europe.

Co-commissioned with Southbank Centre, Jean Abreu's performance piece An:Other Solo for Two scrutinises Abreu's own memories of home, loss, and new beginnings in response to the space and objects within the new World Gallery.

Plus, you'll have the opportunity to explore the Wonderful World Late's diverse array of fascinating activities, including anthropology talks, music tours and facepainting, plus much more.

For more information and to book tickets for just £5, visit their website. Over-18s only.
