Meow Meow: Feline Intimate
What to expect:
a sexy, musical cabaret show

If you haven’t checked out London Wonderground yet, then here’s your chance! Sexy cabaret star Meow Meow has wowed audiences across London, at venues from the Southbank Centre and the West End, to concerts with the London Philharmonic. This marks her Wonderground debut however: expect a wide range of songs from Brecht to Radiohead, and a properly “purr-fect” evening!

Meow Meow is on at London Wonderground from 20th May – 8th June at 9.15pm. Tickets from £14, available here.

A Small Family Business
What to expect: riotous drama and intense comedy

Alan Ayckbourn’s 1987 play first premiered on the Oliver stage at the National Theatre, so it’s fitting that this revival is taking place there too. Exposing corporate greed, the indictment of Thatcherism feels equally relevant today, and is packed with riotous drama. It’s only on for another couple of weeks so catch it before it ends!

A Small Family Business is on at the National Theatre until 31st May, with performances at 2pm and 7.30pm. Tickets from £15, available here.

The Believers
What to expect: striking movement and a powerful tale

Frantic Assembly’s latest show has had such a successful run at Kilburn’s Tricycle Theatre that it was quickly extended for an extra week. The show uses striking visual imagery and a clear physical style to provide new perspectives in a surprising fashion. As interpretations of the truth begin to crumble, it becomes harder to distinguish what is reality, and what is just the alcohol talking...

The Believers is on at the Tricycle Theatre until Saturday 24th May. Tickets from £10, available here.

Fleabag
What to expect: sharp wit, and explicit humour

This award-winning show from writer and actor Phoebe Waller-Bridge has returned to the Soho Theatre after a wildly successful run last year, that off the back of an equally acclaimed spell in Edinburgh. The show is a raucous journey through one woman’s life, as she decides to bite back and change her life.

Fleabag is on at the Soho Theatre until Sunday 25th May. Tickets from £17.50, available here.

The Testament of Mary
What to expect:
Fiona Shaw in her element

Widely praised by the critics, this adaptation of Colm Tóibín’s Man Booker Prize-shortlisted novel made its London debut this month. Now in its final week, the show is described by many as a mesmerising performance by Fiona Shaw. The play depicts the Virgin Mary as a mother torn up by the loss of her son, digging into her own personal struggle.

The Testament of Mary is on at the Barbican Theatre until Sunday 25th May. Tickets from £19, available here.
