On Stage Top Picks of the Week: 11-17 February

Spotlight on: Vault Festival and Just These, Please
What do I need to know? One of the most notable billings at Vault Festival is this incredibly funny sketch show by comedy quartet Just These, Please
Any star spotting? The show precedes the group's upcoming Edinburgh Fringe début but they are hardly an unknown name in the comedy business – online, 22 million people have watched their sketch about the difficulty of ordering coffee with an Irish name (just think of those silent letters!)
What's the big deal? Comedians Georgie, Will, Philippa and Tom keep the audience in the palm of their hands, belly-laughing along to the quartet's alternatively deadpan and zany deliveries. The performance’s slick and professional production, paired with their original sketches and impressive talent, make it one to watch out for. The hour long show is a highlight reel of 25 hilarious sketches including delights such as how an Ofsted inspection at Hogwarts can be less than desirable, how humans are the most hated member of the Animal parliament and how bitter Judas got when Jesus got promoted over him. Just These, Please have ended their run at Vault Festival but you can catch them later in the year at the Edinburgh Fringe.

If waiting for summer for a comic injection is just too long, sample some of the many alternative comedic offerings at Vault including The LOL Word, a group of queer women stand-up comedians, Jamali Maddix: Work In Progress, comedy as seen on Live at the Apollo, or Young Corbyn: An Origin Story, regaling the audience with the tale of the Labour icon’s rise from the mean streets of Islington. Check out more recommendations for Vault Festival, as well as an interview with lead producer Becky Brown, here.

The best of the rest:
All About Eve: Much-anticipated adaptation of the quintessential tale of backstage competition starring Lily James and Gillian Anderson
Noel Coward Theatre, opens 12 February

Sunflower: Garret Millerick's comedy show, half written when life got in the way with a devastating couple of months, will leave you with both kinds of tears in your eyes
Soho Theatre, 12-16 February

Tin Men and the Telephone: Get your smartphone out in order to become a part of this immersive, interactive music show
Trinity Laban, in-development shows 13-14 February, final show 15 February

Last chance to see:
Superhoe: Sharply clever, rap-punctuated one-woman show asks questions about how we treat sex workers, and women more generally
Royal Court, until 16 February
