Where to Eat Sushi in London

19 March 2019 Billie Manning

Fishing the best sushi out of the pool for you...

Spotlight on: Endo at the Rotunda
The redevelopment of the White City area means that plenty of new restaurant openings are getting our tongues wagging and tummies rumbling, but none quite so much as this forthcoming sushi restaurant in the rotunda of the former BBC headquarters. The restaurant is named not only for its location but also for master sushi chef (and director of recent scene-stealer Ichibuns in Soho) Endo Kazutoshi, who has decided to head up his own venture after tenures at Zuma and Catalonia’s El Bulli.

Kazutoshi is a third-generation sushi chef and well-known for his talent; he’s made no bones about the fact that he’s looking for a Michelin star at Endo, and so far it doesn’t look unlikely. Guests can expect an elegant, minimalist Japanese space that seats just 15, and though it’s not yet been revealed, a small and elegant menu to match. They’ve already had the King of Jordan as a guest, now it’s your turn – make space in your diaries for two years’ time.
