Win a Jazz Age Bundle Pack

BFI Southbank - Win a Jazz Age Bundle Pack

One fantastic Vintage bundle that encapsulates the excitement of the Roaring Twenties!

Competition Ends: 23/05/2018

Included in your Jazz Age starter pack are a pair of tickets to see the newly restored silent classic Pandora's Box staring the luminous Louise Brooks. Sensationally modern, Pandora’s Box follows the downward spiral of the fiery yet innocent Berlin showgirl Lulu, whose sexual vivacity has a devastating effect on everyone she comes in contact with. Erotic and stylish, Pandora’s Box is one of silent cinema’s great masterworks and a testament to Brooks’s dazzling individuality as the arch femme-fatale.

Plus a collection of 1920s literary classics from the Penguin English Library series courtesy of our friends at Penguin Classics. With iconic authors such as F. Scott Fitzgerald, Virginia Woolf and George Orwell, the Penguin English Library reflects the best fiction in English, from the eighteenth century to the Second World War. Designed with beautiful patterned covers by Coralie Bickford-Smith, these are books to collect, share and love; books that celebrate the pure pleasure of reading. Titles in this bundle include Great Gatsby and  Tender is the Night.

And finally a pair of tickets to one of the Candlelight Club events this June (either Friday 1 or Saturday 2 June). Step back in time to the romance of the Jazz Age at the Candlelight Club, a secret 1920s speakeasy that pops up once a month. The location, lit entirely by candles, is a secret, revealed to ticket holders two days before the event. Guests—who all dress in period costume—are entertained by live jazz bands, cabaret performers and DJs spinning vintage vinyl. Tickets include a complimentary table reservation and bottle of Champagne!

Pandora's Box screens at the BFI Southbank from 1 June for a limited two week run and the Candellight Club takes place on 1 & 2 June at a secret location. Win a full Vintage bundle of prizes, pull on your flapper dress and get ready to Charleston!
